Temple Grandin Seminar

Prof Temple Grandin is a noted animal expert and professor of animal science at Colorado State University, best-selling author, autism activist and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behaviour.

Prof Grandin visited Indonesia for the first time in November 2015, invited by Meat and Livestock Australia. She visited 2 feedlots and 2 abattoirs and she witnessed first hand on the massive improvement of animal welfare in Indonesia livestock sector.

In the seminar, Prof Grandin reiterated the importance to make a facility simple but workable. Other experts that presenting in the seminar were Drh Wiwiek Bagja and Ir Yudi Guntara, both are a very respectful animal welfare experts in Indonesia.

The seminar was attended by more than 70 participants from industry, universities and government officials.
